Site Instructions We tried to keep the use and navigation of this site as simple as possible. In case you have questions about using
the different services available through these pages you will find some easy to follow (we hope) instructions below. If you still have questions or doubts about operating this site, please contact us.
Insert the RGB values of your original color. You can insert RGB data using different ranges and conventions. Usually computers handle each color component (Red, Green and Blue) as a decimal integer from 0 to 255. In particular cases you can obtain data in hexadecimal format (0 to FF, like in HTML color tags) or as floating point values from 0 to 1 (standard RGB). You are free to use any of these three systems. For individual RGB data simply entry your values in the "R", "G" and "B" marked fields (the server will automatically detect if the values are within the 0 to 1 range or above). If you have HTML color tags or hexadecimal values use the field with the "#" mark.
If you enter data in the "#" marked field leave the individual "R", "G" and "B" fields empty and vice-versa. If you access this page through a different service, the
RGB values will be automatically inserted from the previous results. You can at any time change these values. If you have color data in a different color space (L*ab, XYZ, CMY ...) use the "Color calculator" first to convert your values to RGB.
Press the key to submit your data to the server. The following page will also contain your set of color combinations. The resulting colors will be shown around your original data in order to give you a direct visual perception of each color effect. Results will also be listed with their RGB values and direct links to the "Get commercial tints" and "Color calculator" pages. You can click on each color's link to directly access the related service or return to the harmonies selection form at the top of the page.
If you insert any invalid RGB value (typically out of range data like numbers greater than 255 or negative numbers), the server will respond with a warning message. Insert correct data and press the "Start" button again.
